Robert Burns is a consulting managing director of PIMCO, an investment advisory firm with over $600 billion of assets under management. Mr. Burns is a trustee of PIMCO Funds, the PIMCO Variable Insurance Trusts, chairman of the board for PIMCO Strategic Global Government Fund, Inc., and a director of PIMCO Commercial Mortgage Securities Trust. Mr. Burns graduated from the University of San Diego and obtained a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University.
